Dr. Jessica K. Willett is a practicing Emergency Physician based in northern California. She has a passion for global and humanitarian work, and is actively involved in a variety of organizations who provide international medical care to communities in need. She has a love for prehospital medicine with a particular interest in HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Services). She also believes that medical education is of utmost importance and is an active participant in the FOAMed network.

She connected her passion for sports sciences with obtaining her EMT licensure–which would be the beginning of a long relationship with prehospital medicine. She now works full time as an Emergency Medicine physician in Northern California, and remains involved in local prehospital care and HEMS.

She also stays active in the international medical community and dedicates her time to multiple humanitarian medical trips each year. Her past global medical journeys have included travels- but not limited to–Cyprus, England, Grenada, Syria, India, and Kenya. She believes that her duty as a physician is to provide care to all, especially those who are unable to receive it. Through pursuing her own passions, she hopes to inspire others to do the same–and thus, have a greater impact on the world.

It would not be an understatement to say Dr. Willet’s work is literally healing and changing the world.
